Annual report focuses on measures taken to tackle energy and cost of living crisis
The annual report by the Social Protection Committee examines social conditions and social protection policies across the EU. This year’s report - issued on the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty - focuses on the energy and cost of living crisis. Price rises had a negative impact on households’ purchasing power, especially for lower income families

2,8 millions d'euros au titre du Fonds européen d'ajustement à la mondialisation pour soutenir 421 travailleurs licenciés en Belgique
La Commission a proposé aujourd'hui une aide de 2,8 millions d'euros pour soutenir les 421 personnes licenciées en Belgique par la chaîne Makro Cash &Carry et ce, au titre du Fonds européen d'ajustement à la mondialisation en faveur des travailleurs licenciés (FEM). Ce financement aidera ces travailleurs à trouver de nouveaux emplois grâce à des conseils personnalisés, à la formation et à l’aide pour ceux qui cherchent à créer leur propre entreprise.

Public Employment Services (PES) are one of the main actors to help integrate displaced people from Ukraine in the labor market. According to their last survey, the number of persons displaced from Ukraine registered at PES remains stable, with some country variations.
