Net-Zero Industry Act: Making the EU the home of clean technologies manufacturing and green jobs
Last week the Commission proposed the Net-Zero Industry Act to scale up manufacturing of clean technologies in the EU and make sure the Union is well-equipped for the clean-energy transition. This initiative was announced by President von der Leyen as a part of the Green Deal Industrial Plan.

La Commission présente aujourd'hui un plan industriel du pacte vert visant à renforcer la compétitivité de l'industrie européenne à zéro émission nette et à soutenir la transition rapide vers la neutralité climatique. Le plan vise à créer un environnement plus favorable à l'accroissement des capacités de l'UE en ce qui concerne le développement de technologies et de produits à zéro émission nette, qui sont nécessaires pour atteindre les objectifs ambitieux de l'Europe en matière de climat.

The first ever European Employment & Social Rights Forum attracted over 1200 participants
The European Employment and Social Rights Forum took place on 16-17 November in Brussels. This first edition of the event focused on how to achieve a fair and inclusive green transition for all. The Forum also celebrated the 5th anniversary of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
