Fair labour mobility: Commission welcomes provisional agreement on modernised social security coordination rules
The provisional agreement reached today by the European Parliament, the Council and the European Commission revises the European rules on social security coordination to ensure that they remain fair, clear and easier to enforce.

Brexit Preparedness: European Commission adopts final set of “no-deal” contingency measures for social security coordination rules
Given the increasing risk that the United Kingdom may leave the EU on 30 March this year without a deal (a “no-deal” scenario), the European Commission has today adopted a final set of contingency proposals in the area of the Erasmus+ programme, social security coordination and the EU budget.

Updated MISSOC information on national social protection systems now available
Updated information (up to January 2018) on social protection systems in all EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland – including brief descriptions of their organisation and information on the social protection of the self-employed – is now available on the MISSOC website.
