The Horizon IP Scan is a tailored, free-of-charge, first-line intellectual property (IP) support service provided by the European Commission (EC) in order to assist European start-ups and other SMEs involved in EU-funded collaborative research projects to effectively manage and value IP in collaborative R&I efforts. The 20-minute info session aims to provide all interested parties with background information on the EC's innovation support initiative, as well as information on its advantages and the application procedure.

The Europe India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI) is hosting the EU India Leaders Conference 2023 in Brussels on 5 July 2023. The conference is organised in acknowledgment of the ongoing negotiations for the India-EU Free Trade Agreement. The event serves as a platform for leaders from both India and the European Union to come together and discuss various aspects related to trade, business, and industry between the two regions. During the conference, there will be a presentation dedicated to showcasing the India IP SME Helpdesk.
The WORTH Partnership Project II is funded by the COSME Programme of the European Union. WORTH creates and supports transnational collaborations between designers, creative people, manufacturing enterprises (SMEs), crafters/makers, and technology firms looking to develop design-driven and innovative products. The virtual WORTH Exhibition will take place between 3 and 7 July 2023 to inspire, empower, and connect visionaries and creatives. On 6 July, in a dedicated "IP Day" session, together with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the European IP Helpdesk team will provide insights into the strategic use and successful exploitation of intellectual property rights.
