Jointly organised, this series addresses IP-related aspects in four areas: IP Assessment, IP Commercialisation and Licensing, IP in Business Collaboration for SMEs and Start Ups, and IP and Thinking international – International Business Opportunities. Following the webinar on IP Assessment on 12 September, the second session will focus on specific aspects of IP commercialisation and licensing.

Beginner-Level Webinar: The Importance of IP for SMEs

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) do not always fully consider and address the value of intellectual property (IP). However, IP is a crucial factor in daily business decisions in an increasingly knowledge-driven economy. In this virtual session, you will be introduced to the basics of IP and learn how IP can be used as a business asset.

Basic-Level Webinar: The Importance of IP for SMEs

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) do not always fully consider or address the value of intellectual property (IP). However, in today's knowledge-driven economy, it plays a pivotal role in daily business decisions. This virtual session aims to introduce you to the fundamentals of IP and demonstrate how it can be leveraged as a valuable business asset.

Beginner-Level Webinar: IP Assessment

As IP assets are constantly growing, they should be used effectively. Accumulated IP assets can be the armour that protects a company from competitors in the market, but also a powerful weapon to initiate attacks. In this online session, European IP Helpdesk expert Dr Christian Hackl will reflect on different facets of the IP assement process. Typically involving a systematic and scientific examination and evaluation of IP resources, it also allows companies to determine whether their IP is adequately protected and whether it currently provides a competitive advantage or might be used as such in the future.

Basic-Level Webinar: IP Assessment

As intellectual property (IP) assets continue to expand, it is paramount to use them efficiently. These accumulated IP assets can act as a protective "shield", safeguarding the company from market competitors. They can also serve as powerful tools for initiating strategic actions and gaining advantages in the marketplace. This webinar will offer valuable insights into the critical steps involved in IP assessment and highlight the significance of this process.

Business Opportunities and Intellectual Property Protection in India

This event will mainly focus on market and business opportunities as well as how to best prepare a market entry strategy by exploiting IP assets in India. The session will also provide essential information for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) looking to internationalize their operations in India, as understanding the IP and legal aspects can help them navigate the market successfully and safeguard their IPRs.
