Sampling procedures according to product properties
The following list is an overview of sampling procedures in form of so called sampling cards according to product properties. A chart of sampling procedures for goods in the food and chemical sector can be found here in categories: food; chemicals; and articles.

Card number Name of goods Definition of goods

SAM-001 Retail packages and finished articles Covers all products packaged for retail sale.

Retail packages are defined as packages where the weight of the smallest individual pack within the consignment does not usually exceed 5 l or 5 kg, i.e. various cans, bottles, jars and bags.

This card also provides information on sampling of finished articles whether or not packed in retail sale packages which are not covered in their specific cards.

The articles are defined as finished products, which can be used directly by end users.
