The European Committee of the Regions and OECD launch a survey on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)!

With feedback from local and regional authorities on their work on SDGs, the European Committee of the Regions wants to showcase how you have implemented, or currently are implementing, SDGs. This information will be used to influence a future EU strategy on SDGs, to better advocate for a territorial approach in the European and national policy-making process and to boost actions of implementation. Your views on what should the EU do on SDGs, on the priorities the EU should have to act on SDGs will also feed in its opinion on a Sustainable Europe by 2030 to be elaborated during the course of 2019.

 
Climate Adaptation: Public Feedback launched on 22 June

The Public Feedback of the Partnership on Climate Adaptation was launched on 22 June 2018 and will last until 17 August 2018. This would be the unique opportunity for the public to contribute to the draft actions from the Draft Action Plan. You can read and contribute to the draft actions online.

 
Public Procurement: Public Feedback open since 11 June

The online Public Feedback of the Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement Partnership kicked-off on Monday 11 June 2018 and will last for 6 weeks, until 22 July. You can contribute to the draft actions from the Draft Action Plan. All the information and summaries in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian and Bulgarian are available online.

 
World Resources Forum - Call for abstracts

WRF 2019 will host a series of ‘deep-dive’ workshops as part of the conference program and invites interested organisations to design and submit a workshop proposal now. Under the Title 'Closing Loops - Transitions at work', WRF 2019 wants to show systemic drivers, as well as concrete solutions to make the transition to circular economy work in practice.

 
Call for examples on air quality measures

The Urban Partnership for Air Quality has just launched a call for examples of successful (best practices) and unsuccessful air quality measures. The call is open to all interested national, regional and city authorities from the European Union. The general objective of the call is to support the implementation of the Ambient Air Quality Directive by providing knowledge of Air Quality measures.

 
Survey for local authorities on communicating on air quality

The Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) warmly invites you as a city representative to answer the below questions on communicating to the public on air quality. This survey is part of activities under the EU’s urban air quality partnership, which brings together urban areas, EU member states, the European Commission and stakeholders to improve air quality in cities and to bring the “healthy city” higher on the local, national and EU agendas as part of the Urban agenda.

 
Climate Adaptation: What bottlenecks? (now available in several languages)

The Partnership on Climate Adaptation has identified various bottlenecks related to the cities capacity to adapt to climate change and would like to see how relevant these bottlenecks are according to other cities in Europe. To that aim, a questionnaire has been designed to be filled in quickly (less than 5 minutes) and translated in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian.

The Urban Agenda needs you!

All information about the Urban Agenda for the EU as well as about the Partnerships is publicly available on Futurium. However, if you want to comment a draft Action Plan (online soon), start a discussion, like a publication, in other words, if you want to go beyond being a passive reader and become an active participant, you need to register first!
