Community Update
Over 90 representatives of New European Bauhaus Community members participated in an online session organized on 12 July. The session aimed to understand what the NEB community is doing and how we can join forces, avoid parallel structures and pull our efforts together to be even more impactful in supporting Ukrainian people and entities.
The New European Bauhaus is considering a participation in the Biennale Architecture 2023. The title of the 18th International Architecture Exhibition is The Laboratory of the Future.
More than 80 local and middle-sized municipalities across the EU submitted applications to the first call supporting local initiatives.
World Urban Forum took place in Katowice, Poland at the end of June. Under the title Transforming our Cities for a Better Urban Future, it brought together 17.000 participants from 155 countries who provided greater insights and clarity on the future of cities based on existing trends, challenges and opportunities, as well as suggested ways cities can be better prepared to address future pandemics and a wide range of other shocks.

CrAFt – Creating Actionable Futures is an EU-funded coordination and support action for New European Bauhaus transformations towards climate-neutral, beautiful and inclusive cities.

The last working session before the summer break will be on 12 July 2022 between 14h and 16h CEST.
Through its physical and online activities, the Festival reached nearly 200 000 people. It was a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in beauty, sustainability, and inclusion to meet, exchange, make plans for the future, and celebrate.
