Info session funding opportunities in innovation procurement for health and active ageing

On 16 October a new call for procurement project proposals opens supporting digital health and active ageing. The challenge is to scale up outcome-based innovative digital health and care solutions across EU borders through joining up actions in procurement of innovation. The call will be presented in Vienna at ECOVATION 2018, an official event of the Austrian Presidency of the EU Council.

 
A new approach to standards for ageing well engaging end-users

How can standards help ensure that digital products and services cope with the challenges of Europe's ageing population? The STAndards, Innovation and Research for Active and Healthy Ageing (STAIR-AHA) platform is holding its very first meeting to discuss this. Everyone interested is welcome to join.

 
Compete for the Trillium-II prize

The Trillium-II Prize will be awarded to the organisation that has done the most to promote the beneficial use of the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources International Patient Summary (FHIR IPS) for international medical information exchanges. Deadline to apply: 1 May 2019.

 
Improving Digital Health Literacy

Citizens’ digital health literacy is an essential element for successful eHealth deployment. Literate citizens can play a more active role in health self management, resulting in improved prevention, adherence to a healthier lifestyle and better health outcomes. The IC-Health final conference will offer panel discussions focused on digital health literacy. The project will present the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) co-created by experts and users.

The event will present the upcoming funding opportunities offered by the EU's Horizon 2020 Programme to projects focusing on smart energy systems and smart cities and communities concepts.

Developing digital industrial platforms - info session for applicants for EU-funding

On 10 September 2018, the European Commission will offer a web-based information session on the topics for which a call for proposals is currently open: agricultural digital integration platforms, smart and healthy living at home, interoperable and smart homes and grids, horizontal activities. Application for funding closes on 14 November 2018.
