International Summer School on GNSS

After 11 days of intense activities, the 12th edition of the ESA/JRC International Summer School on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) has come to a successful end.

Co-organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), the JRC and many international partners, the school is one of the main training events on GNSS. This year, 52 students from 24 countries attended from as far afield as the US, Australia and Mauritius.

The event provides specialised training and has a direct impact on the GNSS market - 27 of the participants came from industry and many attendees will start a successful career on GNSS.

In addition to the co-organisation of the event, the JRC contributed to the school with lectures, labs and hands-on activities. Continuous support was provided to the students, who worked in teams to develop a GNSS project.
