How can the European Union and Europe in general be presented in the classroom? To tackle this tricky question, the European Commission Representation, the European Parliament Information Office and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education in Vienna have joined forces to produce a 44-page brochure containing practical tips and advice specifically geared towards Austrian teachers. The aim of the brochure is to offer 'various thematic and methodical proposals' on how best to approach Europe in the classroom and to serve as a guide to the many tools and information sources available on the market. The brochure was launched at a public event on 28 November with about 125 teachers in attendance.
