President Juncker presents the State of the Union 2016

Every September the President of the European Commission delivers his 'State of the Union' speech before the European Parliament, taking stock of the past year's achievements and presenting his priorities for the year ahead. All the important texts from this year's speech of 14 September have now been assembled in one publication: the speech itself, the President's letter of intent on the priorities, a summary of the progress on the Commission's 10 priorities and more.

A digital single market in Europe

It is time to make Europe fit for the digital age. And this new brochure explains what it is all about. It is a new title in the series "The EU explained". Print copies of the EN version can already be ordered by distribution partners in the same way as other titles in this series. Copies of the brochure in the other 23 languages will be available for order shortly. The brochure contains 16 A4 pages and includes many infographics. The EU in slides

"The EU in slides" is a selection of PowerPoint slides outlining the basics of what the European Union is, what it does, and how it works. They are a flexible aid for teachers and speakers giving presentations about the EU. They are open for editing - any of our multipliers can re-use the illustrations, graphs, or template. The content also shows a number of tangible advantages of the EU, as well as the more traditional subjects of EU history, treaties and institutions.
