eDelivery Conformance Testing Platform: version 2025.06 coming soon
A new version of the eDelivery Conformance Testing Platform, named 2025.06, will be released on 30 June 2025. This update brings full support for testing the dynamic discovery and pull feature of the eDelivery AS4 v1.15 profile, expanding our platform's ability to validate solutions against a broader set of interoperability scenarios.
With the introduction of tests for both Dynamic Receiver and Dynamic Sender, this release allows full testing of dynamic discovery, offering a more complete testing environment for those supporting this functionality based on the eDelivery AS4 v1.15 specifications. This will bring confidence in your software to users who need dynamic discovery in their eDelivery network. Additionally, the new version of the platform introduces tests for the Pull Feature enhancement, used by receivers who (for example, due to security reasons) cannot expose their Access Point AS4 endpoint to the Internet.
The 2025.06 update also includes minor bug fixes and usability enhancements, continuing our platform's commitment to providing a reliable testing experience.
What features can be tested?
The eDelivery Conformance Testing Platform allows you to test your AS4 solution against both the mandatory Common Profile and a number of Profile Enhancements. As of version 2025.06, the platform supports testing for the following optional features:
- Four Corner Topology
- Standard Business Document Header (SBDH)
- Dynamic Receiver (new in 2025.06)
- Dynamic Sender (new in 2025.06)
- Pull Feature (new in 2025.06)
In addition, the platform supports the ENTSOG AS4 Usage Profile Rev 3.5, a separate profile compatible with eDelivery AS4.
Why does conformance testing matter?
The eDelivery Conformance Testing Platform is the official tool to validate AS4-based solutions against the eDelivery AS4 Profile. Passing these tests not only confirms your product's or service's interoperability and security but also makes it eligible for a conformance certificate.
Once issued, the certificate confirms that your solution conforms to either the Common Profile and any tested Profile Enhancements, such as Dynamic Sender/Dynamic Receiver or Pull Feature. A dedicated test summary and signed conformance overview certificate document this status transparently.

Reminder: keep your information on your product/service up to date on the eDelivery conformant solutions listing. Also, if you want to share news about your solution in the eDelivery newsletter, we are accepting contributions!
Implementing eDelivery AS4 2.0?
If you are working on an eDelivery AS4 2.0 implementation, please note that the eDelivery Conformance Testing Platform will not be updated to support the new profile before mid-2026. To support early adopters, the eDelivery team is offering complementary tools (such as eDelivery2 AS4 Security Validator) and events to help you validate key aspects such as security.
One such opportunity will be the next eDelivery Interoperability Event, scheduled for September 2025. The event will focus on proof-of-concept implementations of eDelivery AS4 2.0 and allow conformant solution providers to test their products against each other in a collaborative environment.
Stay tuned for more information and registration details in the coming weeks. eDelivery is a Building Block provided by the European Commission, offering technical specifications, installable software and services for secure digital data exchange across a network of nodes. The eDelivery Conformance Testing Service allows testing software products and services against the eDelivery specifications. The technical specifications are translated into test assertions, which are the main unit for testing and reporting the conformance of an implementation. Based on the test assertions, test cases are derived and implemented on the test platform in the form of executable test scripts. An implementation can only pass the conformance testing process in case all mandatory test assertions have been successfully completed. The outcome of the test execution is documented in a test report which is published alongside the name of the product or service in the pages displaying the eDelivery conformant solutions (AS4 & SMP).
