Guidelines for sharing your content
eDelivery team invites conformant solution providers to publish content in eDelivery Digital Newsletter
The eDelivery team invites eDelivery conformant solution providers to submit their news and updates to be published in the eDelivery Digital Newsletter. This initiative aims to increase the vendors’ visibility to the eDelivery community by enabling the opportunity to share updated news about eDelivery conformant solutions in the eDelivery Digital Newsletter.
The eDelivery Digital Newsletter counts with more than 1500 subscribers (updated numbers available here).
This page presents the rules for submitting content and should be read carefully by interested parties.
Submission guidelines
We invite eDelivery conformant solution providers that passed eDelivery conformance testing in the last 3 years to submit original content to be featured in the eDelivery Digital Newsletter. The content will be hosted in the news section of curated content on our website.
For information and reference, authors can consult the newsletter digital archive.
Examples of possible content to be published include news on any events, webinars or conferences related to your conformant solution, and announcements on product updates or certifications.
In order to be accepted, the contributions should consider the following aspects:
- Contribution must be original work not previously published or planned to be published elsewhere in the same form, in any language (search engines cannot differentiate between original and duplicate content, hence penalising both locations in their search results);
- Only conformant solutions listed in our AS4 or SMP pages and updated within the last three years can submit content. If your solution is not yet listed or needs an update, please use this form and proceed with conformance testing;
- The content submitted should be relevant to the eDelivery Building Block community and/or contribute to the development of the eDelivery conformant solutions market;
- Content to be submitted in English (If you submit content leading to the original source in another language, aiming to target a specific audience, please provide a translation to English and explanation how this could be relevant to be published for wider eDelivery audience);
- Publications can include text (up to 350 characters), image (16x9 format and up to 2 MB) and link(s) to any additional sources of information;
- AI generated content (text and images) should be acknowledged, including the identification of the AI tool used;
- Authors need to agree with and sign the Licence Agreement.
How to submit?
Contributions for publication in the eDelivery Digital Newsletter can be submitted via an online form.
Together with the content for publication, the eDelivery team requests organisations to agree and sign-off on the Licence Agreement.
Publication schedule
The eDelivery Digital Newsletter is published once every quarter per year. The tentative publication schedule is available in the table below:

We will not accept submissions after the deadline. Please make sure to submit your content in advance to allow sufficient time for reviewing (if needed) and to ensure it is accepted and published on time.
Editorial policy and review process
The content submissions undergo a pre-screening and review process by the Editorial Board. This process aims to ensure that the current guidelines are followed and that the content is formally and linguistically fit for purpose. The eDelivery team notifies the authors to inform about the outcome of the pre-screening and review process.
Authors may be asked to revise their submission following any improvements or comments suggested by the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board of the eDelivery Digital Newsletter reserves the discretion to accept or reject initial or revised submissions for publication. Unpublished content is treated strictly confidentially. Grounds for rejection include, but are not limited to, submissions that do not fit the substantive scope of the blog and eDelivery; submissions that do not display the appropriate quality or include language or content that is defamatory, biased, discriminatory, partial or otherwise inappropriate.
Both the authors and the eDelivery team have the right for removal of content. Authors should contact us via email if they wish to have their content removed from the eDelivery news section. Furthermore, in the event that the eDelivery team becomes aware that the information published does not conform to the rules set forth in these guidelines, it has the right to remove the content without prior notification.
In case of any query, please contact the Editorial Board at EC-DIGITAL-BUILDING-BLOCKS@ec.europa.eu.
Copyright licence policy
We request organisations to agree and sign the Licence Agreement which, in general terms, determines that the copyright owner retains ownership but authorises the European Commission to use the work for a specific purpose (i.e. publication in the eDelivery website, social media and eDelivery Digital Newsletter). The Licence Agreement applies to the entire content published, i.e. images and text, and further identifies and defines the manner of acknowledging the author(s).
Authors should acknowledge the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated content (for both text and images) and check if the Terms and Conditions of the AI tool used grant the ownership or at least the right to sub-licence the use of the content generated to others.
