Public consultation on QERDS Implementing Act concludes with widespread participation from the trust ecosystem
The public consultation on the 'Electronic signatures and seals - Qualified Electronic Registered Delivery Services' (QERDS) Implementing Act in the context of the European Digital Identity Regulation officially concluded on 13 May 2025. This consultation was a significant step in the European Commission's effort to gather insights and opinions from a broad range of stakeholders to ensure the Implementing Act meets the needs of its diverse user base.
During the consultation period, feedback was requested from trust service providers, industry experts, businesses and associations, public authorities, research organisations and the general public to address various aspects related to Electronic signatures and seals and QERDS.
