Commission releases version 1.0.5 of the Technical Design Documents

In June 2024, the European Commission released version 1.0.5 of the Once-Only Technical Design Documents.
The technical and operational specifications of the Once-Only Technical System are laid down in the Implementing Regulation ((EU) 2022/1463)(opens in a new tab). These specifications are complemented by detailed, non-binding documents, known as Once-Only Technical Design Documents (TDDs). The Technical Design Documents provide a high-level overview of the main components of the Once-Only Technical System, describe their functionality, and outline the process for exchanging documents and data through the system, the ‘evidence exchange process’.
Version 1.0.0 of the Once-Only Technical Design Documents was released in December 2023, together with the system’s go-live. The documents are regularly reviewed and updated by a dedicated group comprised of Member State and Commission representatives.
Version 1.0.5 of the documents is a patch release that is mostly limited to minor corrections of existing functionalities. It does not include any major changes or additions of new capability. The release consists of two parts:
