To retrieve an evidence using the OOTS, users will cross websites provided by different teams in different countries, each responsible for different steps in the user journey. These guidelines, based on work by UX experts from the across the Member States, are designed to help us deliver a joined-up user experience to citizens and businesses across the EU.

Procedure Portals
A webpage or a mobile application where a user can access and complete an online procedure. This will be the first touchpoint for users to start the OOTS journey.
National authentification services
Government-operated authentication systems that securely verifies and manages the identities of individuals and organizations. They will assist users to authenticate themselves.
Evidence request services
Some Member States intend to use national intermediary platforms to facilitate the evidence location and request. In that case, users are redirected to these services from the procedure portals to find the evidence providers and request evidence.
Preview spaces
A functionality that enables users to preview the requested evidence. Users can express whether or not they would like to use the evidence for the procedure.
