This action plan had been adopted in 2013 to implement the Atlantic Strategy for stimulating Blue Growth. Other questions asked in the consultation cover its effectiveness, its efficiency and the EU’s added-value.

To understand how the implementation of the action plan is contributing to achieving the EU’s wider objectives in terms of jobs, growth and sustainability, the Commission encourages stakeholders to express their views, not least putting forward ideas on how the action plan that can be further strengthened.
