EIC Pilot: €120 million to help bring next batch of top-class projects to market

The European Commission announced today 68 additional start-ups and SMEs selected for an overall funding of €120 million under the existing EIC pilot. The funding is awarded under the SME Instrument part of the EIC Pilot. The companies are for instance developing a blockchain-based online payment technology, new energy efficient screens and a solution to fight traffic noise.

Commissioner Moedas presents Horizon Europe to the largest science meeting on the continent

Today marks the beginning of the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF2018) in Toulouse. This is the largest interdisciplinary science meeting in Europe that brings together over 4000 delegates from 80 countries. For the next long-term EU budget 2021-2027, the Commission today proposed €100 billion for research and innovation. The new programme – Horizon Europe – will build on the achievements and success of the previous research and innovation programme (Horizon 2020) and keep the EU at the forefront of global research and innovation. City4Age - The ultimate city for the elderly population

Commission launches EIC Horizon Prize for Early Warning for Epidemics
