EU aluminium industry suffers from regulatory costs

In spite of increasing global demand for aluminium, since 2003 ten primary aluminium smelters have closed in the EU, while none have opened or are planned to open. Therefore, a new Commission study looks at the situation in the aluminium sector and how its competitiveness is affected by regulatory costs.

 
European Satellite Navigation Competition 2013 (Munich) results are published

The European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) proudly announces the list of the winners of edition 2013 of the competition. With 413 complete submissions from teams regrouping 1200 participants, this 10th edition of the competition was a intense one. Prizes worth a total of 1.07 million Euros were presented in 32 categories.
