The Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform (ZPSP) held its 4th meeting on 20 April, focusing on zero pollution for production and consumption, as well as local efforts and initiatives to develop green and digital transformation actions across Europe.
The European Commission has published a report on progress made by the Member States towards reducing noise pollution through the implementation of the Environmental Noise Directive, calling for stronger action to achieve 30% reduction target.
The UN Water Conference in March 2023 highlighted the need to address the global water crisis, with the EU bringing its commitments to reduce water pollution, restore rivers, improve risk management, and promote transboundary water cooperation.
