This session addresses the specific challenges that EU-funded projects should consider while using or developing Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), particularly knowledge management and protection, exploitation, and maximising impact. At the end of this session, participants will have gained a better understanding of which intellectual property rights (IPR) are appropriate for different ICT technologies as well as the exploitation strategies of different types of ICT.

There are many different ways to define professional and systematic intellectual property (IP) management in Horizon Europe projects. The Latin America IP Helpdesk, in collaboration with the Camara do Comercio do Centro, presents a workshop on the protection of intellectual property rights, with the aim of providing valuable insights and practical strategies for individuals and companies interested in protecting their intellectual creations. Intellectual Property Protection Landscape in India – A Brief Outlook

In collaboration with Eureka Network, the India IP SME Helpdesk organises a training session aiming to apprise European Union small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on Intellectual property (IP) laws in India. The main objective of the session is to raise awareness about the market opportunities that India offers for European SMEs. Webinar & Cooperation with Horizon Results Platform: Artificial Intelligence

The European IP Helpdesk team is collaborating with the European Commission's Horizon Results Platform (HRP) for a new webinar series exploring different aspect of intellectual property (IP) valorisation. Following the first session on "Introduction to IP as a Business Asset", the second session will specifically focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and IP. This lecture will also provide insights into how data is protected by database rights.

 
Basic-Level Webinar: Consortium Agreements

The Consortium Agreement (CA) outlines the rights and responsibilities of project partners, including provisions related to internal organisation and decision-making, financial matters, and the handling of intellectual property (IP) rights. A CA is typically required for most projects and should be signed prior to the Grant Agreement (GA). This webinar will offer insights into the essential components of the CA and the important considerations that should be addressed in it.
