LIFE was once again present at Ecomondo, the annual trade fair for the green and circular economy. The LIFE programme and its projects organised two info sessions, and also featured in the virtual exhibition with the possibility of one-to-one meetings where participants could gain useful insights.
The session "Bringing Nature Back Through LIFE" showcased some of the best project examples and their conservation successes in terms of cooperation with stakeholders, communicating about nature, and mainstreaming conservation ideas in other policies.

This is a complex topic, full of intricacies, dimensions, and challenges (scientific, socioeconomic, and political), and multiple solutions will be needed. This webinar highlight ways forward, based on real examples around the globe, on how climate change can be integrated into MSP. Links with global ocean governance goals and sustainable development will be explored.
#OurBaltic online conference will gather ministers, decision makers, scientists and stakeholders from NGOs and industry in the region and across the EU to discuss the challenges faced by this sea. In line with the EU Biodiversity Strategy and the Zero Pollution ambition announced in the European Green Deal, the Conference will focus on how to reduce the pressure from fisheries and the input of pollutants, litter and contaminants, including pharmaceuticals.
