Since the CINEA Away Day 2022, Department D has undergone research to identify the actual winners of the Department D quiz. The top scorer on Sli.do was 'Charlie' and D colleagues were wondering who was Charlie and how to find him? After some detective work, the winners were found.

The 16th edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week (26 to 30 September) attracted more than 8,000 participants online and onsite. The strategic gas infrastructure project creating a new gas supply route into the European market has celebrated its commissioning on 27 September. The gas pipeline (EUR 267 million of CEF Energy funding) connects the Danish and Polish gas transmission systems and enables gas imports from Norway to Poland.

24 new projects have been selected following the second cut-off date of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility call for proposals. The projects range from the installation of electric recharging stations along the European TEN-T road network to the deployment of hydrogen refueling stations for cars, trucks and buses and the electrification of ground handling services in airports.

The #LIFEis30 exhibition presents powerful images from some of the most innovative, inspirational and effective projects from the LIFE Programme. The exhibition, which will stay in the Berlaymont piazza until today, can be also visited online and will be displayed at CINEA in December!
The Agency took part in the event (541 registerd participants) by organising the PCI garden exhibition and with speakers at the policy conference. The Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, the Director General of DG ENER, Ditte Juul Jørgensen and Director Beckers were also there to meet and greet #CEFEnergy beneficiaries.
