The first 'Walk the Talk' in the city of Brussels, organised by the Women in CINEA network took place on 11 July. During the exploratory ‘Our city, our safe space’ walk participants shared views and concerns on accessibility, mobility and safety among others.

When taking time off, it is good practice to create an effective out-of-office message for your work email. You should always indicate your return date as well as an alternative contact in your absence. This could be a FMB or the address of a colleague acting as your back-up. Keep it brief but include all the necessary practical information.
The eMSP NBSR project (Emerging ecosystem-based Maritime Spatial Planning topics in North and Baltic Sea Region) brings together 15 neighbouring countries from the region and fosters cooperation across the two sea basins for the efficient development of Maritime Spatial Plans. The EMFAF project aims at creating a stable and secure environment for the development of a sustainable blue economy for the benefit of coastal communities.
The classes will take place on Thursdays from 13:30-14:30 in the wellbeing room on the ground floor. A minimum of 5 inscriptions per class are required for the class to take place and enrolments must be made on the preceding Tuesday. The year of elections is not over yet, and the Belgian municipal elections are coming up soon (13 October). As an EU citizen you have the right to vote, but you first need to sign up by 31 July. To encourage more people to exercise their right to vote in this election, some colleagues took the initiative of campaigning - through grassroots.
The projects were selected following the 6th cut-off date of the first Public Sector Loan Facility (PSLF) call with EUR 8.9 million of EU funding. They aim at promoting sustainable social infrastructure, improving the energy efficiency of public buildings and modernising transport infrastructure. Meanwhile, DG REGIO has launched a survey as input to a study to support the interim evaluation of the PSLF - with a deadline of 6 September.
