Have you ever wondered how our statistical maps are prepared? Would you like to prepare your own? Eurostat recently released a tool that can help you with that.

IMAGE is a web-based-tool intended to allow users to quickly make professional statistical maps. It contains a number of predefined templates covering the EU, EFTA, candidate countries as well as a global template.

You can download your map in PNG or PDF format. If desired, you can further customise your map in external programmes using SVG output file.
