The EFQM Excellence Model was adopted by Eurostat as a strategic management tool in 2015. The model was implemented to examine ways of working and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the organisation.
On 25 October 2016, Eurostat was assessed by two assessors from the European Foundation for Quality Management. The assessors looked at a number of areas, including Eurostat's strategy, the key results obtained by our institution, our process management, sustainability of our work and also human resources.
We are proud to announce that Eurostat has been awarded the "EFQM Committed to excellence", 2 Star Certificate.
