The financial position of spouses in the agricultural sector, who work toegether with there partner in there agricultural venture, is often insecure and can often be enhanced considerably in the area of social security, income and capital. This mainly has considerable consequences for the often female parnter in case of going bankrupt, divorce or death. In the worst case scenario women who worked hard within their venture their whole-married-life end up alone without receiving any salary or capital.
Solution
Developing an approach in which: - spouses who work in the venture in the agricultural sector are made aware of their position and a clear overview of available competencies among spouses who work in the venture becomes available to be able determing required training - financial service providers pay attention to the financial position of the spouses who work in the agricultural venture - national and European politicians are made aware in the issue - the financial position of the spouses who work in the agricultural venture becomes a self-evident issue on advocating agricultural organisations'agendas.

The issue of a disadvantaged spouses who work in the agricultural venture has become an issue acknowledged by themselves, by advocating organisations, by financial service providers such as accountants and banks and by politicians. New forms of national and international cooperation were realised to advocate within the political arena the disadvantaged position of spouses who work in the agricultural venture. Advocating organisations become empowered to service their members in a better manner.
