A cross-border project brought together local authorities, businesses and schools from Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia to improve the energy efficiency of a number of public buildings. The ENPOL-EE project is also raising awareness among local people and organisations about energy use and protecting the environment.

csA new X-ray photoelectron spectrometer, which has been purchased by the CNRS Centre Limousin Poitou-Charentes, will enable academic and industrial laboratories, as well as companies in the Centre-Val de Loire region, to increase their research, development and innovation capacity. Located in the Interface, Confinement, Materials and Nanostructures Laboratory (ICMN), the equipment will be used to determine and map the chemical composition of the surface layer of materials.
frAdults of all ages have been learning how to get the most from their computers and the internet through a training project supported by the largest scouting organisation in Poland. A total of 4 370 people – including pensioners and those with special needs – participated in the ‘Flying Academy of Digital Education’ project. It delivered skills training and created a transregional network of 70 digital leaders that operates across 39 communes in Świętokrzyskie and two communes in Śląskie.

The investment has enabled Lumag sp. z o.o to introduce a new series of brake pads for luxury cars. The project allowed the company to develop a new line of brake shims, which stop pads squeaking and vibrating.
