#EUinMyRegion Media Trips

The programme aims to allow regional and local journalists and content creators from all EU regions to learn about Cohesion Policy, EU funds and more in general about the European Union. The programme will include online trainings and a short trips to Brussels with sessions about:

• Institutions, structure and procedures of the EU
• EU Cohesion Policy: how the EU invests in regions and cities across Europe
• EU current issues
• How the EU handles fraud and mismanagement with funds
• EU financing opportunities
• Data tools for journalists
• Project visits and meetings with Commission country experts

The first media study trips will take place on 02-03 February 2023. The European Commission will cover travel and accommodation costs for the journalists participating in the programme.
