EU-LAC Museums project wins Europa Nostra Ilucidare special prize

The EU-LAC Museums project won the Europa Nostra Ilucidare special prize on 23 September. The project, funded by Horizon 2020 and managed by the European Research Executive Agency, brings together an international team of 35 museum professionals, researchers and policy makers across the European Union (EU) and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

 
European Research & Innovation exhibition

Discover the virtual R&I exhibition with more than 100 innovative research projects funded by the EU. Look for them in the Panoramas on city, environment, food and agriculture, green manufacturing and industry. The exhibition was launched as part of the 2021 European R&I Days.

 
€310 million for new research projects

The EU invests over €310 million in research to support sustainability in agriculture, forestry, marine and bio-based sectors. The European Commission has selected 44 projects to address global challenges such as food security and climate change mitigation.

 
40 new projects to contribute to the EU Green Deal

The European Commission selects 40 research projects for funding. The projects result from the Horizon 2020 Green Deal call for proposal. They will share nearly €428 million of EU funding to provide innovative solutions that contribute to the European Green Deal.

First Horizon Europe calls for proposals

The European Commission has launched the first calls for proposals under the new Horizon Europe programme for research and innovation. Submit your proposals for research funding in the areas of food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment by 6 October.

 
Rule of Law and Democracy in Europe: Your questions answered

Democracy and the rule of law - two of the EU’s fundamental values - have come under increasing pressure over the past 10 years. The massive open online course (MOOC) ‘Rule of Law and Democracy in Europe’ by EU-funded project RECONNECT explores the principles of these two values and how they can be defended against backsliding in the EU Member States. Digital Government: Co-creating innovative public services for citizens and businesses

Efficient and transparent public services have a direct impact on the quality of our lives. The Research Executive Agency (REA) joined forces with Directorate-General Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT) and CORDIS to produce the second edition of the publication Digital government: Co-creating innovative public services for citizens and businesses. The results pack showcases 15 EU-funded projects that have pioneered innovative digital solutions and processes to fully launch Europe’s public services into the digital realm.
