The European Commission is looking for innovative ideas on 15 areas including water governance and water use, consumer-focused labelling options for bio-based products, and understanding the emergence and tackling the spread of new infectious diseases affecting humans, animals and plants. The new European Biodiversity Partnership Biodiversa+, co-funded by the European Union with an overall budget of €800 million brings together 74 research programmes and funders and environmental policy actors from Europe and beyond to help put nature back on a path of recovery.
