The Economic Benefits of Marine Protected Areas

In 2018, the European Commission gathered substantial anecdotal evidence that MPAs are not just good for the environment, but also for local economies. Fisheries, tourism, conservation management, technology, research and consulting… All those sectors can gain from a well-implemented MPA.
