Newsroom

Dear readers,

date:  06/12/2023

Welcome to the latest edition of our monthly newsletter. I am delighted to share with you some exciting updates and news

So, without further ado, I am thrilled to invite you to the first edition of the European Ocean Days, a week dedicated to our One Ocean and our maritime and fisheries sectors.

The '2nd Mission Ocean Forum' on 5 March will showcase the achievements and future plans for the restoration of the ocean and waters. On 6 March, the 'Future for Europe’s Seas' event invites stakeholders to share their challenges and needs, providing key insights for future policies. The 'BlueInvest Day’ on 7 March features expert panels on the Future of Ocean Tech, a business-investor matchmaking, and awards for outstanding work in sustainable blue technologies. We will conclude on 8 March with the 'Ocean Literacy in Action' event to spread awareness about the importance of the ocean.

By having these events over one week, we aim to bring together our diverse stakeholders, encouraging broader engagement and visibility. Your participation is crucial in collectively shaping a sustainable maritime and fisheries future, including potential new business opportunities, for the long-term benefit of our coastal communities and their economies.

I look forward to welcoming those joining us at the 'European Ocean Days' for many stimulating discussions, where collaboration and shared insights pave the way for a thriving blue planet.
