The seminar reviewed the latest information on the state of fish stocks and of the economic developments of the fleets in the Northeast Atlantic, the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, and in the Mediterranean.

Senior scientists from independent bodies, the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea and the Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries made presentations on the state of fish stocks in EU waters and on the economic conditions of fishing fleets, and there was an exchange of views with the Advisory Councils and the participants.
