Belgian landings make up only 10% of fisheries products consumed in Belgium so there is real scope to promote local fish to and market seasonal and lesser known species to consumers. That's why sustainability and opening up new markets were two of the main challenges facing the Belgian Fisheries Local Action Group. This video shows just one of many examples of how they tackled those issues through a series of innovative projects.
