  • Assessing the contribution of successful European projects and of existing synergies in shaping the future research priorities within the Horizon 2020 (2014-2020).
  • Explaining how the new European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation – Horizon 2020 – will tackle the challenges along the food and value chains.
  • Raising awareness on research opportunities for food industries, especially SMEs, and fostering their participation in the EU-supported RTD activities.
