Analysis of impact of completed Eurostars-1 projects - Final report 2017

The main objective of the study is to evaluate the performance and to assess the impact of the Eurostars-1 Joint Programme in terms of new products, processes or services introduced into the market two years after the project’s completion. The analysis is also aimed at providing concrete recommendations and any other useful comments on how to better implement the Eurostars-2 programme.

 
Commission simplifies Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 Monitoring Report 2015

Horizon 2020, the EU's research and innovation programme, is attracting more and more researchers and innovators. In 2015 there was an increase in proposals by 25% compared to 2014, especially coming from businesses, whose number of applications increased by almost 27%. Almost 50 % of participants are newcomers, many of which are small and medium-sized companies.

 
Independent experts to advise Commission on impact of EU research funding

The European Commission will set up a High Level Group of experts who will advise on how to maximise the impact of the EU's investment into research and innovation. The Group will be chaired by Pascal Lamy, President Emeritus of the Jacques Delors Institute, the Commission decided on 21 September 2016.

 
Commission moves to strengthen research integrity

The EU's Horizon 2020 research funding programme has now a more specific set of rules on research integrity to be followed by beneficiaries. This is thanks to the new provisions in the Horizon 2020 Model Grant Agreement.
