INTERNAL MARKET, INDUSTRY, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SMES - Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs stands firmly by Ukrainian entrepreneurs

The EYE programme continues to support its Ukrainian local contact points and entrepreneurs in this crisis. We took measures, implemented by the entire network, to help these organisations match Ukrainian entrepreneurs with their hosts outside of Ukraine and allow them to continue realising their ambitions to start and grow their companies.

This year 100 Ukrainian entrepreneurs have already started an exchange and currently Ukrainian new entrepreneurs are by far the most accepted in Europe to the programme.

To allow for wide participation a specific call to support UA new entrepreneurs is under preparation. This call will have the ambition to support UA new entrepreneurs with the immersion to the word of entrepreneurship and aims at combining EYE exchange and a “refugee pre-accelerator”. Participation in the Ukrainian EYE should boost UA entrepreneurs’ ambitions to start business and thereby support recovery of their country after the war.
