This sixth edition of the European Cluster Conference will be an inspiring not-to-be-missed event. You will have the chance to learn about recent and future cluster policy priorities and developments in support of innovative and sustainable industrial modernisation, and interregional cooperation. The 2019 conference will put the spotlight on connecting ecosystems and focus on digitalisation and skills gap, circular economy, shared value and social impact.

The conference programme includes

  • high-level plenary sessions on the need for clusters of change
  • panel discussions on fostering strategic interregional collaboration and linkages across European Commission cluster-related EU initiatives
  • interactive sessions where participants will have their say and share experiences, best practices and challenges

The pre-conference EU cluster matchmaking event on the morning of 14 May has 150 spots for those interested in teaming up with others. It's organised in collaboration with the European Cluster Collaboration Platform and the Enterprise Europe Network. In 2016, we set the benchmark of 114 cluster organisations from 21 countries as participants in thelast EU cluster matchmaking. This year, that may be beaten. To take part in the matchmaking, sign up separately via the registration form on the conference website.

Last but not least, the conference is an opportunity to

  • listen to feedback from the EU Cluster Weeks events
  • vote for the European Cluster Manager of the Year
  • hear about the European Strategic Cluster Partnerships of the Year for going international, for smart specialisation investments and for new industrial value chains (INNOSUP-1 cluster project of the Year)

If you wish to take part in any of the awards, please fill out the form on the European Cluster Collaboration Platform or the Conference website.
