The Digital subgroup of the Commission expert group "Together for EU Tourism" (T4T) held the webinar "How to use efficiently digital tools in Tourism" on 3 July 2024. The webinar aimed to showcase concrete examples of successful use of digital tools for smart tourism management, highlighting how innovative approaches and bold adoption of new technologies have reshaped the sector The aim was also to explore real world case studies that demonstrate the transformative impact of digital solutions on enhancing visitor experiences, optimizing resource allocation, and driving sustainable tourism growth.

 
Webinar: Tourism Strategies Towards Resilience

The Resilience, Skills and Inclusion Subgroup of the Commission expert group "Together for EU Tourism" (T4T) held the webinar "Tourism Strategies Towards Resilience" on 28 June 2024. The webinar aimed to raise awareness around two key elements of tourism strategy: 1) How to improve social sustainability strategies for tourism at the destination level with commensurate benefits for communities, for visitors and for businesses; and 2) How to empower public authorities and local decision-makers in rural areas to evaluate, benchmark and enhance their tourism strategies and policies.
