During the Raw Materials Week the Commission published the Guidance on cascading use of biomass with selected examples on woody biomass.

The Guidance explains cascading by presenting its principles and practices that aim at inspiring stakeholders when applying cascading. The publication addresses the circular economy commitment to ‘promote efficient use of bio-based resources through dissemination of best practices on the cascading use of biomass and support for innovation in the bio-economy’.

The publication is available in English (other official EU language versions will be available in Q2 2019).
