There is a proposed budget of €13 billion for 2021-2027 available to competitive and collaborative defence projects. This support covers the entire cycle of research and development and builds on ongoing activities that promote and test defence cooperation (i.e. Preparatory Action on defence research and European Defence Industrial Development Programme).

The brochure Opportunities for SMEs in the European Defence Fund is now available online in 6 languages. From November, it will be available in a total of 6 languages in hard-copies.
