The main objective of this event is to discuss an action plan to implement the regional co-operation between the EU and Latin American countries part of the regional dialogue (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay) on the mining sectors, based on mutual interests. It also aims to identify the different funding instruments.
 
Main topics: technology, consulting services (including health and safety), good governance, trade, investment, infrastructure, research & innovation, training and skills.

The event will take place at EXPOMIN 2016 on 25 April (from 14.00 to 18.30, with a networking cocktail from 19.00 to 20.00) and on 26 April (from 8.30 to 18.00).

Attendance is free of charge.

Please fill in the registration form, save it with your name and send it to rawmaterials.chile2016@gmail.com.

Deadline for registration is 31 March 2016.

However, in case you would like to give a presentation, we kindly ask you to register no later than 15 March.

Important information

The number of participants to this event is limited and participation is subject to registration and selection (in case the maximum number is achieved). We advise you not to make any travelling or accommodation arrangements before you receive the confirmation of your registration.

The European Commission will not cover travel and accommodation expenses for participation in this conference. Conference attendance is free of charge. Coffee breaks, a lunch and cocktail will be provided to all participants.

The organisation of the event has been assigned to a contractor who will manage the practical aspects of the organisation of the event.
