The results of the 20 local events of the Single Market Forum will be brought together at a one-day concluding conference in Riga on 26 March 2015, in cooperation with the Latvian Presidency of the EU. It will be an opportunity to review how single market legislation works on the ground, identify the remaining problems, and discuss the need for further action, through a debate between EU institutions, SMEs, and other stakeholders.

The proper functioning of the Single Market must be a shared endeavour given its importance for growth and jobs in the European Union. For the Commission, the results of the Single Market Forum will be an important input to its further work.
