European SMEs have reported that the biggest concern for them in relation to internationalising into China is what will happen if their Intellectual Property (IP) is infringed.

It is a valid concern and can happen to anyone, even to European SMEs who have no involvement with China or the Chinese market.

Essential questions will be answered, such as:

  • why is it important for EU SMEs to protect their trade mark and trade secrets;
  • how can this be achieved and which method is the most suitable to legally enforce trade marks and trade secrets in the case of infringement.

There will also be opportunities to ask further questions to the IP experts.
