venue:  Charlemagne Building

The 7th edition of the high-level conference on European space policy will take place in the Charlemagne Building of the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.

The conference will aim to discuss in more detail the approach and the intentions in the space field of the new European policy-makers, to present the state of play and a vision of the future development of current EU space programmes such as EGNOS, Galileo, Copernicus and SST, and to examine how the European space industry can respond to increasing international competition. The participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the new initiatives needed for the development of European space applications and services and to discuss the increasing uses of civil space tools for security and defence operations.

The event will offer a unique opportunity for an informative debate between the main political and industry decision-makers, bringing together high-level representatives of national and European institutions, authorities, industry, research centres and civil society.

Registration is free of charge for all participants and possible at: www.spaceconference.eu
