INTERNAL MARKET, INDUSTRY, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SMES - September 2011 compared with August 2011: Industrial production down by 2.0% in euro area

In September 2011 compared with August 2011, seasonally adjusted industrial production fell by 2.0% in the euro area (EA17) and by 1.3% in the EU27. In August production rose by 1.4% and 1.0% respectively.

In September 2011 compared with September 2010, industrial production increased by 2.2% in both zones.
