[p]DG Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission and the Cypriot Department of Labour Inspection has organised this workshop in cooperation with the Taiex Unit of DG Enlargement. [/p]
[p]The target audience of the Workshop is public authorities and other stakeholders from new Member States and Candidate Countries (e.g. representatives of notified bodies, standards organisations, users and industry) involved in the implementation of various aspects of the directive. This Workshop aimed to provide participants with practical guidance on conformity assessment, market surveillance, standardisation, in-service inspections and a possibility to exchange information and experience between Stakeholders regarding the PED.
