Raw Materials University Day - 25 September 2017 in Poland

On 25 September, ‘Raw materials university day’ takes place at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Wroclaw, Poland. The event aims to promote skills and employment in raw materials, especially in the exploration and processing industrial sectors.

Participants can take part in many presentations, workshops, games and discussions. These showcase the huge potential and scientific achievements in the raw materials field. Participants can take a scientist-guided trip through geology, chemistry and technology laboratories. During the tour, they will perform experiments illustrating the process of extraction, slip resistance tests and the modelling of mining facilities.
